Director, UX Design

I manage a team of UX Designers and UX Managers. Part of my team’s responsibility is to build and maintain our design system. PowerSchool design system is used by multiple products (latest count at 36). This requires careful and meticulous scrutiny for every aspect of a design pattern to be flexible, yet maintain an aesthetic standard that is identifiable as part of our design system. I am also in charge of product solutions that tackle the school district administration system and college preparation for high school kids.

I have been involved in organizing our Agile process championing the use of Aha! for establishing roadmaps as well as JIRA integrations that keep our entire design organization in sync with product development.
